The Reference window

The Reference window is shown below:

Frame drop-down menu

Click on this menu to display one of the following:

Previous frame - the previous frame (drawing) of the currently loaded level.

<Model name> Ref - the color model drawing for the currently loaded level.

The names of any reference drawings that have been nominated for the level or the color model:

<Level reference drawing name> - the name of the any level reference drawing for the currently loaded level.

<Model reference drawing name> - the name of any color model reference drawings for any currently loaded color models.

The title bar of the Reference window will change to show what is displayed, as you swap between the above selections.

In normal use, you can leave this window displaying either the color model or one of the reference drawings you are using to paint your drawings. However, when painting, it can sometimes be easier to copy colors from the previous drawing.

Changing the size of the Reference window

To display the Reference window at full screen size, click on the maximize icon in the top-right corner of the window.

To restore the Reference window back to it's original size, click on the maximize icon in the top-right corner of the window.
